Jousto Pole - Power

The Jousto Pole – Power is the foundation of the Jousto distributed infrastructure platform, providing autonomous solar generation, battery storage and intelligent power distribution in locations where mains electricity is unavailable, unreliable or expensive to install. Designed around a robust approximately 4-metre pole structure, the system combines a 475W Trina solar panel, 12V 100Ah battery, Victron SmartSolar MPPT charge controller, Victron BatteryProtect and protected multi-circuit DC power distribution inside a weather-resistant enclosure mounted approximately 3 metres above the base. The Pole – Power provides a ready-made energy platform for customers who already have their own communications, control systems or equipment but require a dependable source of off-grid power. Equipment can be connected to the protected DC distribution system for applications including cameras, environmental sensors, telemetry equipment, lighting, communications equipment, pumps, gate systems, monitoring devices and industrial IoT hardware. The modular design also provides a pathway to upgrade the system later with Jousto communications, local compute, cameras, AI monitoring and additional sensors.
