The Jousto Container 42/60 is a high-capacity deployable infrastructure platform designed to bring substantial solar generation, battery storage, communications, local compute and intelligent monitoring to almost any site.
At the centre of the system is a standard 10-foot shipping container incorporating approximately 42kWp of fold-out solar PV, a 40kW inverter and 60kWh of integrated battery storage.
The solar modules are transported within the container and deployed on purpose-designed mounting structures at the site, creating a large temporary or semi-permanent solar array without requiring a conventional fixed solar installation.
The system is designed for both off-grid and grid-connected operation and can also operate with generator backup. Multiple units can be connected in parallel where significantly greater power and energy capacity is required.
Every Jousto Container 42/60 also includes a Jousto Pole 180°.
The Pole provides an independent edge-infrastructure node alongside the main energy system, delivering its own solar power, battery storage, 4G communications, Home Assistant local compute and AI camera monitoring.
This allows the site to maintain communications, monitoring and automation independently of the main container power system.
The included Jousto Pole 180° can monitor the deployment, provide AI event detection, connect environmental or operational sensors and provide a local automation platform for other equipment operating around the site.
Together, the container and Pole create more than an off-grid power system.
They create a deployable site infrastructure platform capable of powering and connecting equipment, sensors, cameras, machinery, communications systems and future AI or robotic equipment.
